Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors Instruction: 
Al-Saeeda Journal of Medical Sciences (SJMS) welcomes the Research Articles/ Reviews from the Research Scholars, Academicians, Manufacturers in the area of Microbiology, Hematology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and Public health and Publish Semi-Annual.
Submission:
Submitted papers by authors/co-authors should be innovative in nature. Papers must be submitted on the considerate that they have not been published in any journal or other publication company (filled the following journal application form) (attached).
The submitted paper should be sent as electronic MS-Word file only and there is no page limit. Papers must be written in the English language. Submissions by a person other than one of the authors will be not accepted. During the period of submission and peer review of the manuscript, the submitting author takes responsibility for communicating with the journal. The submitting author is responsible for confirming that the manuscript’s publication has been accepted by all the other coauthors using the journal application form (attached).
After receiving the Research Articles/ Reviews, an acknowledgement will be send to the submitting author within a maximum of two days. Submission of paper send through e-mail to [email protected]. After receiving the paper, a manuscript number will be sent to the corresponding author with a maximum of four days. The mail should comprise the authors' full address, telephone number, and designation.
Peer review:
If submitted papers accepted by the editor, then it will be considered by peer reviewers, whose identities will persist unknown to the authors.
Publication charges:
The SJMS is Open Access. Publication Charges permit the publisher to make manuscripts directly obtainable online to everyone to read and reuse upon publication. The publication charges for Yemenis is 25.000YR, and non-Yemenis researchers are 100$.

The journal will consider the following article types:
1.Research articles:
Research articles would present the findings of an original research study. These manuscripts should designate how the research project achieved and offer a thorough analysis of the project results.
2.Reviews:
The review can be prepared by authors in modern topics and concentrated areas. A review article offers an overview of the published literature in a certain subject area. Reviews are also peer-reviewed.
We recommend that all manuscripts include line numbers and follow the structure below:

• Full author names 
• Authors affiliation 
• Email addresses
• Abstract:The manuscript must have an abstract. The abstract should not exceed 300 words.  Structured abstract should be written in the past tense without citation. The keywords should not exceed seven words.
• Introduction: The introduction must be concise, with no subheadings.  
• Materials and methods:The Materials and methods section should provide sufficient detail for others to be able to repeat the study. If you have more than one method, use subsections with related headings. If the method from earlier published article is used then it must be cited and discussed clearly.  
• Results:
 The results should be present with clearness and precision. Results should be presented in Tables and/or Figures. Tables in the manuscript must be kept minimum and simple with clear title above. Tables should be presented on a separate page, it should be numbered. Tables must be prepared in MS Word. Figures in the manuscript brought in numerical order on a separate sheet with clear tile below. Figures should be supplied in bitmap formats such as GIF, JPEG, TIFF..
 • Discussion:Discussion includes the significance of the results related to the research work that should be discussed and interpreted clearly. .
• Conclusion:This should clearly elucidate the main conclusions of the manuscript, highlighting its importance and significance..
• Acknowledgment: This section should be thanks anyone who contributed to the research in brief manner.
• Conflict of Interest:Authors must announce all related interests that could be apparent as conflicting. Authors should elucidate why each interest perhaps represent a conflict. If no conflicts exist, the authors would state this. Corresponding authors are responsible for coauthors declaring their interests..
• References:Authors should be submitted their references using the Vancouver style by Endnote program.
